I am an American living in Sydney, Australia temporarily. My grandparents migrated to the U.S. between 1910 and 1914 and the came from Palazzo San Gervasio. My grandfather's name was Nicola Vincenzo Manieri and he was born approx. September 1869 and my grandmother's name was Maria Savoia Manieri born approx. 1 April 1882. I have just begun my search for my ancestry and was thrilled to see your website. Thank you. I hope to be able to visit Italy in the next couple of years. I was there in 1999 but did not make it to Palazzo S.G. I am currently learning to speak Italian but my skill is very limited at this time. It was great to communicate with you.
